Canadian Light Source Summer School on Macromolecular Crystallography

LAAAMP invites all FAST Team students to apply for the Summer School on Macromolecular Crystallography to be held on 25-29 June 2019 at the Canadian Macromolecular Crystallography Facility (CMCF) beamlines of the Canadian Light Source (CLS).

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 14 April 2019

If interested, please go to https://cmcf.lightsource.ca/school/mxschool/ to submit an application. In addition, please inform the LAAAMP Executive Committee by sending an email to Sekazi Mtingwa.

During this intensive 5-day hands-on synchrotron data collection school at the Canadian Light Source, participants will attend a series of lectures and be actively engaged in macromolecular crystallography (Mx) data collection at CMCF beamlines. Completing the school enables participants to make effective use of the beamlines remotely and better equips participants to collect diffraction data on-site. This year's invited speaker is Dr. Brian Mark from the University of Manitoba, who will guide participants through the process of structure solution.

CLS is one of the 16 Advanced Light Source facilities that are partnering with LAAAMP.
